When Karis, Cindy and Christine started attending church as teenagers, Madam Chen was supportive, hoping that they would benefit in ways such as improving their grasp of English. Her expectations were surpassed.

A Proud Mother

As a widow having to single-handedly raise three daughters, Madam Chen has been heartened by how they have matured through the various programmes and values taught in church. They grew up as good kids who did well in school and hung around great friends. Church provided overseas exposure and mission opportunities that they might not have had otherwise. And spending time together working towards a common altruistic goal also bonded them as sisters and in turn strengthened their relationship with her. Because of the positive influence church is, Madam Chen feels she no longer needs to worry or tell them what to do.

Sisters United

Fast forward, each sister is a competent young woman in their own right. Karis is our very own Youth Pastor studying for a Masters in Theology, Cindy is a Senior Marketing Executive with Hong Kong Land Pte Ltd and Christine is a Designer with Tilt Advertising. They are all leaders in The Evolution building a home and community for youths to grow and find God for themselves. How they were believed in is what they are doing for other youth and young adults.
